デイブ・リーブマンとスティーブ・グロスマンの２枚看板を大々的フィーチャーしたエルビン・ジョーンズ率いるライトハウスバンドが１９７３年にフランスで行った激レアなライブ。全編を通して聴きモノはやはり烈火の如く炸裂するサックス２本になります。名盤と言われているオフィシャル盤「ライヴ・アット・ザ・ライトハウス」は１９７２年の録音ですが、今回発掘されたのは翌年１９７３年のライブで音質も大変良くジャズマニア垂涎盤です。
