生前最後のツアーとなった１９９１年ツアーから、その初日となる３月１１日のイタリア、ミランのスメラルド劇場における注目のライブを海外マニアがレストア処理を施したアップグレード音源で２０数年ぶりにメガ・ディスクから待望のリリースです。１９９１年ツアーの初日とあってマイルス・デイヴィスが「鬼才」と呼んだデロン・ジョンソンのデビュー・ライブとなります。更に本ライブではプリンスがマイルスのために描き下ろした新曲が４曲の初演となっています。「Penetration」、「R.U. Legal Yet ?」、「Jailbait」、「A Girl And Her Puppy」がそれです。メガ・ディスクからリリースされている３月１３日のドイツ、ギュータースロー公演を収録した「Jailbeit」より１日早い初演ライブ。廃盤となった前作がリリースされてから早２０数年が経過しましたが、海外マイルス・マニアによるノイズレス処理、ドロップダウン箇所の修正、更にディエッサー処理により歯擦音を抑え、クリアな音像と実現しました。マイルスの数多いツアーの中でも最重要と言われる最後の１９９１年ツアーから決定版となるライブをお手元に！！
